This is an economical service for non-urgent deliveries. Charging for this service is based on size and weight rather than distance therefore it can prove very cost effective for deliveries going further afield.

Items are generally collected in the afternoon and processed at our main depot. Consignments are then sent as part of a network delivery system around the country to their destination.

You can “upgrade” to a timed service should you need a delivery to arrive in the morning or if recipients are not going to be available all day to receive the goods.

There are various options within the timed service as listed below. Saturday deliveries are also available to most mainland UK destinations – please ask for details.

Consignments for this service (pallets or parcels) should be packed and ready for collection by 3pm (exceptions apply) of the day they are to be sent. Early and late collections can be arranged however there may be an additional charge for this service.

Overnight Parcels & Pallets Service Guide

Items need to be Booked & Ready by 3pm

For logistical purposes consignments must be booked and ready by 3pm. This may depend on your area, please call for details. This way collections can be included on the standard collection route.

Early/Late Collections

Can be arranged at an additional cost through a dedicated courier collection. Please discuss any particular requirement with the control room.

Maximum Weight/ Maximum Size

45kg per single item - heavier consignments must be split in to multiple boxes. Items can be accepted up to 3m in length and 2m in height. Surcharges do apply for large/heavy items – where possible keep single items under 25kg and 2.4m long.

Volumetric Sizes

Volumetric charges apply where items are larger than their physical weight.

Items Must be Suitably Packaged

Double walled boxes, polystyrene fill, bubble wrap are recommended and can be supplied at cost. Items not packaged suitably are sent at own risk. Please ask for advice.

Standard Liability Cover

Standard compensation is set at a maximum of £50. Please see packaging and insurance guide

Increased Liability Cover

You can increase liability cover on request up to £15,000. Please see packaging and insurance guide

Items Not Acceptable

Examples - living creatures, hazardous materials, firearms, explosives. Other restrictions do apply, please ask for details.

Items Dispatched at Own Risk

Examples - glass, ceramics, works of art, perishables, jewellery, cheque's. Other restrictions do apply, please ask for details.

Loss/ Damage Claims

We must be advised in writing within 3 working days. Claims must be submitted in writing within 14 working days. Service limitations apply - Goods are sent as part of a network delivery system. Full terms and conditions are available on request.
